Meu caminho de ida e volta da faculdade. :)

This is my way to and back from college. :)

The song presenting the Rio 2016 Olympics. Love it.

I like this song. Que voz linda tem a Thalma de Freitas.

Not the trendy Zona Sul beaches like Copacabana and Ipanema: Zona Oeste has Rio’s most beautiful beaches, imho. The access is more difficult but the sight and the more calm atmosphere are worth it.

A fact about cariocas…

We don’t own winter clothing. Most cariocas really don’t even think about the concept while buying clothes. Our winter pieces consists mostly of an old thick jacket for day to day use, a most formal one for special ocasions and a, sometimes full of holes, long sleeved shirt to sleep. All outdated, of course.
So when June comes and brings those cold waves, well… Let’s say that those who are more attuned on fashion and trends might have some very bad sightings around here.

I’m freezing right now. Typing to try and keep my hands warm since I don’t own gloves (and never once had).

The mist covered part of the city this morning and, although it brought chaos on the airport since many flights were cancelled, it also gave us beautiful images on all the tv news.
